Grand Junction Residential Painting Contractor
Several years ago I learned a hard lesson concerning commercial painting contractors. The lesson was this – find a good one and pay them to do it.
My business has this composite siding on it and I had to paint it and the façade every three or four years. It was always such a chore! I had to clamber up my ladder like a thousand times. I have a two-story area to my building, so I had to invest in one of those gigantic expandable ladders which I dropped over 300 dollars on. My community mandates that all roofing in this part of town be black, so when I had to be on the roof to get at different areas, I would bake and bake. I would be exhausted and sweaty and the job would barely be starting.
I had to start with sanding and scraping off the bad stuff – which means I go up and down the ladder for hours. Then I would apply the primer because I skipped it once and the paint was peeling in a month. More ladder climbing. Then finally I would paint – up and down the ladder again, only this time hauling buckets of paint and supplies. I am not getting any younger and all that work over what was always fifteen to twenty days drained me physically and mentally. But every few years the same miserable situation would arise – just aside from the cost. If you have not bought paint in a while you would be surprised, but good exterior paint is expensive and I was having to get a couple dozen gallons at a pop.
After fifteen years I was tired of painting and inquired about putting up some maintenance-free siding. Wow. I could not believe how much they wanted. Allegedly it was just incredible and would last forever, but the expense was like buying a nice used car. Plus, they said the work would take them at least two weeks. So I decided to get in touch with local commercial painting contractors and check out what they had to offer.
While the estimates were obviously much higher than buying paint and performing the work myself, I soon comprehended the worth of my investment. In a couple days, andfrequently faster they informed me, my business was painted immaculately. I recall the hard time I had with covering the trim and edging, and the final product reflected that. It was satisfactory from the sidewalk but my amateur status showed through when you were right against the building. The commercial painting contractors finished quickly and the place looks spectacular. In addition, with the excellent paint they utilize and their skilled work my color should last much longer than all of my efforts combined.
